Escape 2 Create 2015

So this time last week I was at a most fabulous retreat in Port Lincoln, South Australia.
This year was the second time I've been to Escape 2 Create and I had just as much fun the second
time round.

I did two classes
this one by Fiona Paltridge.

(*note to self- need to retake this picture the colours are way out)

And this one by Kim Price.

The other two teachers at Escape 2 Create also happen to be on the Sassy Scrapper
Design Team with me so it was extra special to be able to meet and get to know these two lovely ladies, Leanne Allison and Chantalle McDaniel.

These gorgeous girls here were my table buddies for the weekend.
Thanks to each of you for an awesome, fun weekend.
So many laughs!

we did some of this;

and some of this;

and;
I got to see a pretty special Port Lincoln
sunrise,  who needs sleep right?
I think I averaged 3-4 hours each night.

And it was a scrapbooking retreat so I did get some scrapbooking done and managed 17 layouts!!
Best tally yet I think, very happy with my creative weekend and will
share the pages here over the next couple of weeks.

Before I head off on retreat...

I thought I should post the last of the pages I created
at the Scrap And Chat Retreat in February.

Yes I'm very fortunate to have an understanding husband who doesn't complain when I go away
on two retreats with in four weeks and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to get away
on my scrappy retreats.

So here are the rest of the pages I scrapped last retreat.

Scrap and Chat Retreat 2015

Hello I'm back again with more pages from
the recent Scrap and Chat Retreat.
I've been to this retreat ran by Malinda Gardner for the last few years and it's so
awesome I love it!
Held at The Country Place in The Dandenongs outside Melbourne, so beautiful tranquil surrounds,
amazing food and the inspiration always abounds.
Then there are the fabulous people that I get to scrap and chat with each year!!
It's worth it for that alone.

If you're looking for a retreat in 2016 you won't be disappointed.
You can find out more on the Facebook page HERE

One of the teachers this year was the so very talented
Lisa Oxley and I loved her class.
Lisa's enthusiasm for her art is so infectious
you can't help but come away happy and inspired to
create.

This was my page.
Lots of fun to create and learnt some cool new techniques.

Which then inspired me to create this page.

Lisa has designed some stencils for WOW and lucky me scored one.
(big thanks Lisa xx - you know me and stencils)

How cool is this script stencil?!

I managed 15 layouts this year retreat!! - very happy with that tally.
I guess when you average 3-4 hours sleep a night you can achieve a lot! ;)

I'll leave you with one last page.

Thanks for stopping by.

Retreat shares

Hello bloggers.
Here's a page I created at retreat a couple week ago.
Love the black and white against the colourful background.

Here's another of the pages I created at Scrap And Chat Retreat 2015
using the Balzer Designs stencil from The Crafters Workshop.
I used sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang to colour the background.

I love script stencils great for adding texture to a background.

The Page below is one of my shares for this month on the Imaginarium Designs Blog.
How cool are those interlocking square hippie pieces.

Goes perfectly with the The Crafters Workshop Subway stencil.
Head over HERE to see more chipboard inspiration.

More retreat pages coming up in the next week.

Sassy Scrapper March Moodboard

Have you seen this mood board that Anita Bownds has put together for the Sassy Scrapper March challenge?  Isn't it gorgeous?

You can enter here!

Here's my take on the moodboard.
using the 'I Am' - Simple Stories collection from the Sassy Scrapper Store .

Here's another Page I created last weekend using the same range and
some Mambi chips and Studio Calico.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Cheers
Leonie.
